Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Achieving business performance of all departments and functions in the branch as set by Top Management
  • Identifying, evaluating and managing strategic risks and opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with IDLC\s internal and Regulators\ policies and procedures
  • Increasing the overall productivity of the branch by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities
  • Ensuring timely recruitment of quality HRs for vacancies (if any)
  • Arranging HR engagement programs
  • Maintaining prolific relationships with existing customers and establishing good relationships with prospective ones
  • Developing and overseeing sales and marketing strategies
  • Identifying new business sector, market and recommending relevant product/s if required for development
  • Maintaining quality portfolio
  • Visiting existing and prospective clients on a regular basis
  • Dealing with Internal Control and Compliance dept. and facing Bangladesh Bank\s audits. Preparing audit report reply and taking actions to ensure compliance
  • Appraising the performance of sales team managers, Sales officers and support officers and recommend for confirmation, promotion or improvement of sales officer and take primary action against subordinates for any irregularity found
  • Guiding and counselling employees continuously to improve their performance
  • Conducting and/or participating in CSR activities for the betterment of the community.
  • Directing all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in accordance with the organizations objectives
  • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Proven team management experience in leading Banks & FIs
  • Branch management experience in leading banks or FIs will be given preference
  • Good credit and industry related knowledge
  • Strong analytical thinking and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Sufficient knowledge of SME lending business
  • Ability to meet sales targets and production goals
  • Familiarity with industry\s rules and regulations
  • Results driven and customer focused
  • Leadership and human resources management skills
