Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Major Responsibilities
  • The overall responsibilities of the designated post is to assist in managing the overall accounting and financial tasks of the project. He/she will have to perform his/her responsibilities under the PMU. The followings are the major duties of the designated post;
  • Assist accounts officer to prepare budget and all types of voucher;
  • Assist accounts officer and Deputy Project Coordinator (Admin & Finance) for all accounts and finance related works.
  • Maintain all information regarding advance calculation, income expenditure; receive payment, re-imbursement, and assist project accounts officer.Assist accounts officer for disbursement (advanced adjust and reimbursement) in favor of training institute and partner organization.
  • Post all voucher to PKSF software.
  • Prepare monthly bank statement. Prepare monthly and quarterly finance report for SDCMU.
  • Payment for participant selection after checking bill.
  • Update and maintain the permanent asset register under project.
  • Prepare documents and send SDCMU after bill submission to TMS (Trainee Management System)
  • Assist auditor for annual audit and work intensively with accounts and finance department. Assist auditor recruited by SDCMU and ADB for audit purpose.
  • Prepare letter related to accounts, finance and administration and send after authorization.
  • Collect expenditure voucher under project from mainstream of accounts and finance department and prepare journal voucher.
  • Collect assessment certificate top sheet and send to SDCMU for Milestone Bill claims;
  • Visit training institution to monitor the finance and book keeping related activities.
  • Perform any others tasks assigned by Project Coordinator (PC) or the management of PKSF.

Educational Qualification:

  • Master degree in Commerce preferably in Accountancy/Finance/Business Studies. The applicant should have at least two 1st Divisions/Classes or equivalent CGPA in the academic examinations.
  • Training/ Certificate on Accountancy and or Financial Management will be treated as extra quality.

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Age at most 35 years
  • At least 5 years work experience to manage software based Accounting System preferably in skills development training in any reputed organization;
  • Adequate experience in preparing reports both in English and Bangla.
