Finance Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise all accounting, HR, procurement and out-sourcing according to the project requirements. Accounting activities include salary disbursement, record keeping, banking, accounting software operation and tax withholdings and so on.
  • Support of Team Leader and Project Director in day to day operation.
  • Ensure compliance with PHD Financial procedures, policies and accounting principles and USAIDs policies and government VAT & Tax regulations.
  • Monitoring of project budgets with spending, and prepare periodic reports
  • Administer payroll procedures for project staff including employee time keeping through time sheet
  • Produce financial report, VAT report, cash call, budget projections, accruals and submit to PHD Finance Focal Person
  • Maintain proper books of accounts in accounting software, procurement, HR and other supporting documents.
  • Work with program team as well as other stakeholders related to the project.
  • Develop ToR for the consultants in case of outsourcing, and maintain process and payment.

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum qualification is CA-CC or MBA or Masters degree in finance/accounting, or relevant degree.

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • 5 years of experiences including at least 3 years experiences in working with USAID financial systems.
  • Skills in financial management, record keeping and report preparation
  • Experience in collaboration with the health and family planning departments, local government and other development organizations.
  • Computer skills: Accounting Software, MS-Word, PowerPoint, MS-Excel, email and web browsing
