Senior Program Officer (Branding, E-commerce & Innovation Specialist)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Organizing seminars, workshops on potential new goods and services/financial products of the sub-sectors identified by PKSF etc.;
  • Developing a marketing plan through analysis of current market data and trends;
  • Effectively communicate creative vision across all marketing channels through compelling visual story-telling;
  • Managing dashboards, daily reports, and analysis at a regular basis;
  • Developing the format and features of an e-commerce/e-marketing platform for the microenterprises involved in the project;
  • Keeping idea of new developments in the e-marketing world. S/he will also research the organizations core demographics;
  • Overseeing the entire e-commerce activities and dividing up employees on tasks;
  • Planning for e-marketing expenditures well in advance and develop a financial plan that will maximize their resources;
  • Planning for any new advances or initiatives to improve PKSFs online presence and e-sales; and
  • Proactively monitor campaign performance (KPIs) and delivery goals, compile campaign analyses and escalate delivery issues as necessary
  • Innovation
  • Communicating with various financial institutions/research institutions for acquiring new financial product or services ideas which will promote environment friendly businesses;
  • Designing new financial products or services for different type of enterprises promoting environment friendly business;
  • Helping to Pilot new financial products or services;
  • Any other tasks, duties or specific assignments which may arise as directed by the Project coordinator.

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate must have at least a four year undergraduate degree and a masters degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Economics/ Technology/ Information Technology or any relevant subject from a recognized university with good academic standing. Candidates with professional training on branding and e-commerce will be preferred. S/he must have at least three first class degrees or equivalent among the latest four. Having 3rd class/division or equivalent in any examination will incur ineligibility.

Work Experience:

  • At least 10 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • The candidate must have minimum 10 years of experience in project management, planning and at least 5 years of experience in working in digital focused branding and/or e-commerce sector. Experience in marketing for both direct-to-consumer and for retailers or marketplaces is necessary.
  • Required knowledge and skill
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, Excellent organization, presentation skills in both English and Bangla
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Comfort with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Ad-words, Google Analytics, affiliate platforms such as Amazon affiliate, retargeting platforms such as Retargeter, and email marketing such as Mailchimp
  • Demonstrated project management experience (from ideation to launch), ideally in a product innovation context
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges of new products
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Expert understanding of spreadsheets, databases, financial analysis, website design, search engine optimization, and e-marketing strategy
  • Training on financial services management and institutional development; training on enterprise management, e-commerce, branding etc.
