Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the project
- Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios
- Present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team
- Manage the preparation and publication of projects financial documents
- Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
- Manage preparation of budget
- Review monthly programme budget and reconcile the approved programme budget
- Close review of accounts officer and ensure that the financial functions are properly working
- Maintain strict financial policy for transparent and accountable financial management
- Review and revision of budget as per projects requirement
- Coordinate and collaborate with organizational management and other stakeholders including donor regarding financial management
- Tracking budget expenses and report regularly
- Regular report to the programme manager
- Communicate with donor managing the revision if necessary or if required
- Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
- Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations regarding financial issues
- Others: Any other duties that may be assigned by the management of organization.
Educational Qualification:
- Masters in Finance/Accounting/Economics/ MBA/ ACCA/ CA (Part qualified) from any reputed University.
Work Experience:
- At least 3 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Experience on smooth financial and accounts functions of the project including proper supervision on financial management; report preparation at the different stage of the project as required.
- Good communication skills in English and Bengali; good skills in computer operation especially with MS-Word, Excel, power point and different spread sheets, internet and email applications; innovative, dynamic, hardworking and good interpersonal relationship and ability to work in a team; willing to work under pressure.
