Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely delivery of project inputs to intended beneficiaries and safe receipts at various stages of distribution
  • Ensure the proper packing, documentation and identification of goods before any supplies dispatch in done for onward transportation to the beneficiaries.
  • Maintain an update record of all the project materials received and dispatched of ADRA Bangladesh in the field including ensuring updated file of property transfer forms.
  • Maintain and keep secure the warehouse goods in proper way.
  • In coordination with other responsible officer, ensure communication of material movement details to relevant parties.
  • Provide logistic support and coordination of meetings, trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences, etc. at the national and sub-national levels; including collecting and preparing materials under the guidance of the technical officer at the field level.
  • Prepare and arrange of all vouchers and memos for all types of events, trainings for final adjustment within 3 days after the event
  • Act as focal point for inventory, maintain/update Inventory reports of the project and submit to Logistics officer every month.
  • Act as custodian of office stationery supplies including maintenance of stock list of stationery, distribution of stationery as required by staff and keeping a log of distribution;
  • Procure all items at the field level that are within the delegated authority of the Emergency Coordinator and send the bills to Coxs bazar for payments.
  • Ensure proper management of the office vehicles and the daily scheduling of movements and travels.
  • Ensure the project vehicle is well serviced at all time and insurance renewals are obtained in good time.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor within the assigned area of responsibility.

Educational Qualification:

  • Advance university degree in any related field

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the development and coordination of national programmes and project development.
  • Have understanding on programme monitoring and coordination, ideally with experience in responding to humanitarian emergencies;
  • At least 1 years of practical experience in office management, administration and logistics preferably with UN agencies and/or INGOs. Fluency in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively use standard office software, such as MS office (Windows, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately and ability to maintain good working relationships with people from different nationality and cultural background.
