Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop country M&E strategy for Muslim Aid Bangladesh and lead the M&E Framework development of different programs and projects
- Collaborate with external evaluators to design and roll out of the program baseline and evaluations
- Build the capacity of all relevant team members to develop and maintain an excellent M&E system, including regular reflection and analysis of program monitoring data.
- Provide guidance, recommendations, supervision, and leadership to ensure that the M&E systems meet the needs of programs
- Ensure programmes use the necessary M&E systems and tools, to inform and improve each individual programme, as well as feed into the broader Country M&E strategy.
- Take the lead in aligning, collecting and reporting on relevant indicators to the organizational-wide M&E systems and other external systems as relevant.
- Assist in recruitment of competent M&E staff and train the program team and M&E staff to perform M&E activities.
- Develop a Management Information System (MIS) to support data collection, analysis and reporting
- Assist in the processing, analyzing and reporting of programme and finance data where needed.
- Maintain a comprehensive schedule of private and institutional funding reports for programs and review project/program reports to ensure that reports contain accurate, clear, and high-quality data and presented in the proper format.
- Develop programme and financial reporting templates that facilitate the acquisition, aggregation and flow of information in programs and finance.
- Develop country-level M&E database which is aligned with country strategic and annual plan.
- Create and sustain a work environment of mutual respect where team members strive to achieve excellence.
- Ensure an effective performance management system in place for the M&E team of Muslim Aid Bangladesh.
- Provide team members with information, tools and other resources to improve performance and reach objectives.
- Strengthen linkages with other actors to enhance organizational learning where relevant to MEAL.
- Maintain close working relationships with M&E counterparts in other relevant international NGOs, and local NGOs.
Educational Qualification:
- Masters degree in any discipline
- Masters in Social Science/ Applied Statistics/ Development Economics/ Anthropology will get preference.
Work Experience:
- At least 10 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Proven experience in reviewing, monitoring and evaluating programmes, and using quantitative and qualitative methods and approaches.
- Proven experience of leading, managing and supervising a diverse teams including distance management.
- Experience of capacity building, and promoting learning and development activities.
- Has to be willing to take challenge of working in a participatory approach
- Excellent report writing skills
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis skills
- Excellent operational knowledge of Computer and standard MS Office software, MS Word, MS Excel, SPSS/Access, Power Point.
