Senior Manager, Procurement

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage to ensure effective and efficient procurement of goods and services for both consulting and non-consulting services.
  • Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
  • Lead team members & provide decisions for day to day procurement, Frame work agreement, Vendor enlistment, Training related issues.
  • Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage compliance issues and improve overall relationship with stakeholders.
  • Track and report key performance indicators of Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) process.
  • Coordinate inter organizational communications for providing timely & qualitative procurement services.
  • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts, framework agreements and vendor enlistment.
  • Identify and Research new suppliers.
  • Lead transformational activities to build procurement organizational capabilities and improve procurement efficiency.

Educational Qualification:

  • MBA/M.Com in Supply Chain Management/ Operation Management/ Finance/ Economics or M.Sc from any recognized UGC approved university with minimum all 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA. Third division/ class or CGPA below 2.00 is not acceptable.

Work Experience:

  • At least 6 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • At least 6 years experience in the relevant fields holding a managerial position in a private sector/large NGO/Multinational/Commercial organization.
