Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Check payment requests related to fund to field and follow-up for timely payment.
  • Check day to day expenditure incurred in central office and make necessary correspondence with field accountants.
  • Ensure compliance with the NGO Affairs Bureau requirements, VAT and Tax as per the Government rules.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial report and submit to Supervisor.
  • Develop audit ToR, prepare accounts, provide necessary clarifications, statements, documents etc. as per auditors requirement.
  • Ensure timely completeness of audit and submission of audit report to NGOAB and Bangladesh Bank.
  • Make necessary correspondence with donors and ensure their compliances.
  • Responsible for preparing and submission of fund request to donor as per the grant contract.
  • Ensure compliance with the donors financial frame work and compliance of donors policy.
  • Prepare donors report and submit as per the reporting schedule.
  • Review and revise donors budget in consultation with programme personnel.
  • Prepare donors budget in consultation with programme personnel.
  • Ensure timely receipt of financial report, review the financial report from the project areas.

Educational Qualification:

  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Masters in finance or Accounting. Professional qualifications CA knowledge level CA (CC) from a reputed Audit Firm.
  • Professional qualifications CA knowledge level/ CA (CC) from a reputed Audit Firm.
  • Preferred Professional Certification: Professional qualifications CA knowledge level CA (CC) from a
  • Training/Trade Course: NA
  • Skills Required: Administrative,Data Analysis,Computer Skill

Work Experience:

  • 3 to 5 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Skill in financial report development and other reports writing in English and Bangla;
  • Sound knowledge on BAS/IFRS/IAS and capable in preparation and analyzing financial reports as per guidelines of BAS/IAS standards;
  • Excellent knowledge and use of internet and software packages (i.e. MS Office, etc.). Excellent knowledge and use of internet, social media and software packages (i.e. MS Office, etc.).
  • Result driven, ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines;
  • Capable of Budget development, planning, coordination, monitoring results as well as financial management and accounting systems;
  • Interpersonal communication skills and negotiation skills;
  • High level of integrity and sense of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strategic decision-making ability.
  • Fluent knowledge in English and Bangla
