Roles & Responsibilities:
- Adept in formulating sourcing & procurement strategies and managing the end-to-end process including logistics & supply chain network while achieving all cost, quality and delivery objectives securing best value for the procurement budgets.
- Develop category management strategies to improve sales results and deliver customer category.
- Plan finances, forecast budgets, negotiate deals, and meet financial objectives by risk & cost mitigation; while navigating procurement strategies in alignment with company procurement policy, strategic business objectives, budgetary constraints, emerging opportunities, and vendor capabilities
- Need to do identification, evaluation and qualification of local & global vendors to establish and maintain a comprehensive and category wise list of resourceful & reliable suppliers, while continually rating vendor performance against set KPIs.
- Need to be a Strong leader and enthusiastic team player with excellent analytical, liaison, networking, communication and problem solving skills; and prove ability to work cohesively with project management team and stakeholders in meeting key business objectives.
- Analyze marketing data and provide recommendations to increase sales.
- Develop category management strategies to improve sales results and deliver customer category objectives.
- Collaborate with clients and business managers to implement promotional and marketing events.
- Adhere to company priorities and strategies for operational efficiency.
- Regularly assesses market conditions with available data sources, translating analysis into actionable recommendations for internal and external customers.
- Assist in implementing category management best practice presentations including each component of the MAPS(merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving) fundamentals.
- Provide feedback on current category management systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall program.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation / Post - Graduate degree in any discipline from any reputed university.
- Candidates having MBA Degree will be given preference.
Work Experience:
- At least 7 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of progressive job experience in similar role.
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): -Machine & Spare Parts for RMG sector -IT equipments
- Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with employees & clients of all levels in the corporate sector.
- Must possess polished presentation, top level marketing, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
- Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
- Strong leadership, Influence & negotiation skills with business acumen & must have the ability to present & engage at executive consumer levels.
- Ability to influence and build relationships.
