Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project team and a consortium of partners to successfully implement the Factory governance project
  • Leading, coordinating and delivering agreed plans and strategies to support project area and other local government officials and representatives of local administrative bodies as well national level policy holders.
  • Organize meetings on different artifacts of projects and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Track the progress and quality of work being performed by project team members.
  • Work with stakeholders to handle project issues as they arise.
  • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
  • Understanding all the developed modules.
  • Ensure that project member has the work it needs to meet project milestones.
  • Facilitate the capacity building activities including training, exposure visits, workshops etc. of the project stakeholders including staff, municipal representatives, cooperative leaders, recycling business leaders etc.
  • Ensure clients needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
  • Applying change control and configuration management processes.
  • Reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments to higher management.
  • Direct, manage and motivate the project team
  • Capability of all kinds of project management activities in multiple projects simultaneously
  • Skills in Agile methodology is a plus point

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters degree in any discipline, preferably Development Studies, Public Administration, Business Studies, Economics, Engineering.

Work Experience:

  • 12 to 15 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in the development sector (preferably in urban development, infrastructural development planning). At least 4 years of experience in working with local government while implementing various development projects
  • Good command on MS-Office (MS word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
  • Fluency in English language and proficiency in computer application
  • Ability to work and lead a multi-cultural team and meeting deadlines
  • Professional and clear written and oral communication skills both in English & Bangla.
  • Depth knowledge on program aspect, Finance & Administration, Monitoring & Evaluation.
  • Strong background in leadership, community engagement and relationship building.
  • Excellent networking, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel to, and work in, remote areas for extended periods of time
