Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that an appropriate financial policy framework is in place to guide Jamuna Groups financial decision-making;
  • Prepare budget as per the management guideline and carry out periodic review of budget / forecast.
  • Plan and implement appropriate accounting procedures to record all transactions accurately in a timely manner.
  • Provide full accounting services to other Directors and managers including departmental financial analysis and exploring any potential problems with them in order to make appropriate budgetary decisions.
  • Ensure the production of accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Supervise the maintenance of fixed asset register / inventory.
  • Preparation of all kind of financial reports, presentations as per management requirement.
  • Maintaining & reporting cash related transactions.
  • Implementation and execution of all types of accounting related activities through Tally software.
  • Should be capable of preparing of accounts statement, finalization of accounts, payment received report, trial balance, balance sheet, employee income TAX, company routine TAX & VAT issues.
  • Preparation of share holders reports according to the management requirements.
  • Help the team members attain high professional skills through guidance and appropriate training.
  • Conversant in L/C matters.
  • Maintaining liaison with bank.
  • Develop and implement the yearly audit plan with available resources.
  • Monitor all statutory works and timely payments.
  • Undertake such other financial analysis and reporting as requested by the management
  • Formulate Annual Taxation Policy and Implementation thereof;
  • Monitoring and supervise the works done by taxation department;
  • Preparation of Corporate tax Accounts and filing return of Companies and Directors in timely manner;
  • Following up all Taxation files in regular basis;
  • Sorting supporting evidences against filed returns;
  • Attending Hearing in DCT Offices, Appellate Offices, Tribunal Offices and High Court;
  • Reporting top management on taxation status of the group.
  • Keeping all taxation related documents in safe places in the office;
  • Playing fiduciary role for the group in all time.

Educational Qualification:

  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
  • Must be CA Completed.

Work Experience:

  • 12 to 15 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Familiar in Tally Software, MS Word and MS Excel.
  • 12- 15 years experience in taxation matters in a large industrial group;
  • Must have vast knowledge in Income Tax Order 1984, VAT Act 1991 and 2015, Banking Act, RJSC, Companies Law, Insurance Law, Customs Law and other Business and Taxation related laws;
