Sales Representative

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collect orders all the retailers of the assigned routes.
  • Build a rapport with the retailers and allied professionals
  • Maintain daily sales register (DSR) and update it on a regular basis and forward it to Head Officer after monthly closing.
  • Maintain 15 days stock at Distributor Point for all items. In case of the stock going below this level, he should inform the supervisor.
  • Forward product requisition to Head Office 7 days before the date of delivery.
  • Maintain a high standard of Ethical conduct in the discharge of duties.
  • Prepare in advance, the weekly route plan to maintain the stipulated work and strictly follow the same when approved. Any change if essential should be communicated immediately to the supervisor and make customers call on all outlets in the assigned routes.
  • Initiate, maintain, and update outlet list of the territory incorporating information like name, address, category, telephone number, and business profile, etc for each outlet and keep records of each visit.
  • Gather market date, understand industry trends and accumulate in-depth product knowledge
  • Keep supervisor informed of any field problems/difficulties of business importance and records all complaints, suggestions, etc put forward by the retailers and bring it to the notice of the supervisor.
  • Inform customers of Trade activities in a timely manner.
  • Provide replacement service to customers as per approved SOP.

Educational Qualification:

  • SSC
  • Skills Required: Sales
