Roles & Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility of Marketing & Merchandising Department.
- To ensure sustainable measures by improving sales and acquiring new customers and market share, customer satisfaction, profitability and productivity.
- Checking of all costing for price negotiation with buyer.
- To attend price & sample review meetings with buyer.
- To handle Marketing issues and to support to procure raw materials with right quality and minimum market price
- To comply with corporate objectives of Marketing & Merchandising planning, competitive assortment and brand mix, quality products and services that are catered to consumers need and lifestyle.
- Monitoring, supervising & coordinating every aspect of the Marketing & Merchandising Department.
- Support cost reduction by reducing all kind of wastages.
- To review various monthly reporting and variance analysis.
- Supervising and Monitoring on SOP and T&A plan meticulously and ensuring timely operation.
- Setting up short term and long term marketing goals in terms of quantity and profitability which will be vetted by the management. Then recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
- Directing promotional support. i.e. Fair participation, Continuous website development other relations programs for the existing & new customers.
- Influences present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends.
- To carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time by the Management.
Educational Qualification:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing or
- Masters from any Public University or from a reputed private University.
- MBA from IBA and major in Marketing is preferred.
- IBA, Dhaka University students will get preference
Work Experience:
- At least 23 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Minimum 23 years of experience of which 10 years job experience in a Composite Knit Garments and 05 years continuous job in a reputed company in Sales & Marketing.
- Should have solid track record of success.
- Experience in Textile (Composite Knit Garments: Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing/Finishing), Garments accessories is preferable.
- Excellent communication skills and capacity to build strong working relationship throughout the brand / buyers both local & overseas and efficiently work with all levels.
- Skilled at finding opportunities for new business.
- Need sound strategic knowledge in Management, Marketing and Financial matters.
- Computer knowledge in E-mail, Internet, MS Word, MS Excel is desirable.
