Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for total marketing and merchandising department.
  • Capable of planning, marketing from foreign buyers.
  • Ensure collection of order from buyer/buying house directly.
  • Skill in costing, production planning, and having technical knowledge of undergarments.
  • Should have links with all kinds of foreign reputed buyers and have the ability to get unlimited export orders
  • Determine appropriate price quotations to ensure sales orders and maintain profitability.
  • Any Special task/assignment as required for the position as given by the company.
  • To meet the objectives and targets of the Marketing & Merchandising department
  • To develop strategies using various marketing techniques to increase product sales. Also to use marketing and visual techniques to ensure customer attraction.
  • The Candidate must have sound knowledge on all types of garment fabrics, yarn, trims and accessories.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Team Player/Leader of a Marketing & Merchandising Team.
  • Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
  • Overseeing the update on production status, sampling, lab dips information being provided by the merchandisers to the buyer.
  • Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/delivery.
  • Strong ability on Supply chain/Backward linkage management
  • Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology. Must be creative and have a strong understanding of the products
  • Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
  • To Follow up with planning/production/commercial team & ensure shipment move on time.
  • Should be capable of new business development & promotion with fresh Buyer
  • Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline
  • Diploma in Apparel Merchandising

Work Experience:

  • At least 12 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of practical & proven experience in Merchandising & Marketing
  • Have good leadership ability to take all over the responsibility of entire Merchandising & Marketing team.
  • Must be hard working
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
  • Willing to work under pressure.
