Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operation of an One Stop Service Centre (OSSC) and implement field activities of the project by creating a demand generation of the services provide by OSSC among the RMG workers
- Identify and select RMG industries, support to sign MoU and prepare the pregnant and lactating mother database of RMG workers and ensure services as per project plan
- Organise and facilitate health camps, BRIDGE affiliation meetings to raise awareness on the rights and issues mentioned in the project
- Ensure legal aid services, skills training, job placement and financial protection for RMG workers as per project plan within the working area
- Manage primary health care centre inside OSSC equipped with modern devices, digital record keeping and reporting, mini store for drugs and commodities etc.
- Build strong professional relationship with elected representatives of Municipal/ City Corporation, respective govt. officials, private clinic/ hospitals, pharmaceuticals or healthcare companies, RMG industries, slum owners and dwellers, local leaders and media people
- Efficiently manage, monitor field staff and equip them with the necessary knowledge and skill through organise need base training and assist to organise and conduct field level activities as per yearly plan
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and six monthly services and activity implementation targets of the centre and prepare the cost estimation/ budget, report and necessary documents as per need of the project and annual operation plan
- Support in baseline and end line data collection, ensure strong coordination with support BRAC programmes
Educational Qualification:
- Masters in any discipline from any recognised university with second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable.
Work Experience:
- At least 3 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in national or international development organisation or programme is required. Working with slum dwellers, garments workers and RMG industries is preferable.
- Have knowledge on current national and global development trends related to urban poverty and urban development
- Understanding of the RMG sector development scenario and challenges in the context of Bangladesh
- Have skills on community organising and social mobilisation
- Have skills on leadership, people management, decision making and problem solving
- Have skills on operational management of projects/ programmes
- Excellent skills of communication and presentation, documentation, reporting and facilitation
