Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all grant pipeline data including: specific opportunities by funding sources.
  • Conduct and update analyses for top donor portfolios, allowing WVB to prioritize relationships with World Vision Support Office (SO) and improve ability to make strategic investments in relationship development (internal and external).
  • Identify and analyze specific opportunities to inform Grants Acquisition (GA) leadership and Senior Management Team (SMT) review, and prioritization, including, but not limited to competitive landscape, relevance for WVB strategy, contractual requirements, timeline.
  • Conduct partner and competitor analyses to assist in teaming process, evaluation of competition and construction of highly competitive consortium and identification of primes to whom WVB could sub as appropriate.
  • Update Grants Portfolio database.
  • Ensure that, Grant pipeline is accurate, up to date, comprehensive and shared in real time with all key internal partners.
  • Identify key contacts, information sources for each donor both locally and internationally.
  • Ensure Detail and accurate assessment of probable timing of acquisition and procurement actions, including pre-solicitation requests, donor conferences or webinars, partner meetings etc.
  • Conduct detailed competitive assessments of potential/probable primes/partners/sub/consortium with whom WVB will compete.
  • Summarize all the information about other organizations that are likely competitors for grants opportunity.

Educational Qualification:

  • Essential: BA / minimum Bachelor Degree from any discipline, such as - Economics / Statistics / Engineering / Finance or other discipline which requires high level of quantitative skills.
  • Desirable: MA / MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Skills Required: Data Analysis

Work Experience:

  • At least 1 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to quickly master software tools, and provide training for same.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and in team environment.
  • Superb Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills.
  • Minimum one year business experience with non-profit organization / private sector.
