Roles & Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Logistics in Charge, the incumbent will be responsible to support the procurement process in accordance with ICRC rules and regulations. Major responsibilities include but do not limit to :
- Independently carry out ordinary procurement for specific sector(s) up to a certain amount
- Conduct research into the availability of goods and services
- Draft requests for tenders/quotes, selection tables, contracts and submit them to their hierarchical superior
- Follow up on purchases and deliveries and check conformity with specifications and contract details
- Receive goods and check that they correspond to quantities and quality ordered
- Manage, follow-up, file and scan invoices and related documents
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in relevant subject from a reputed university
- Certifications in purchasing, procurement or supply-chain management will get preference
Work Experience:
- At least 3 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- 3 years experience in a similar position
- Good knowledge of the local market(s)
- Computer proficiency
- Good command of English and/or French
- Excellent sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, respecting the established framework
- Ability to define priorities
- Ability to adapt to and work in a multicultural team environment
- Team spirit and capacity to integrate a multidisciplinary approach
