Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible to ensure day by day (regular) receiving of all materials of the garments;
- He is to review total area of his store and observe the condition of store house early in the morning to determine the condition of storage items and its safety;
- He is to take accountability of manpower placed under him daily;
- He is to report immediately to his superior in case of any major discrepancies in storage materials and building;
- He is to ensure on time receiving of all materials correctly and securely;
- He is to ensure storage of material with proper traceability and identity and whether these are being stored maintaining proper principle of storage;
- He is to ensure proper preservation of materials in case of bulk storage for longer period;
- He is to ensure delivery of right type of items to right place at right time in right quantity and quality for uninterrupted production;
- He is to ensure snap check of material weekly in order to prevent pilferage and to discourage mishandling of materials;
- He is to ensure proper & on time documentation of materials for its receives and issues;
- He is to ensure total logistic support of his department and liaison with higher authority for necessary approval in case of major requirement;
- He is to ensure safety of store, placement of sufficient first aid firefighting appliances as per the space entitlement;
- He is to look after the welfare of personnel deployed under him to carry out day to day activities;
- He is to ensure cleanliness & tidiness of the store area frequently;
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the head of department / higher authority.
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation in any discipline.
Work Experience:
- 7 to 10 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Should have proper knowledge & experience about knit garments store (Accessories, Fabric, General etc.) management;
- Work in a Knit Garments factory in similar track & position will be given preference;
- The incumbent should be dynamic and have a good personality;
- Good communication skill;
- Self-motivated, responsible and team player;
- Able to work under pressure.
