Sales Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Prime responsibility of the incumbent will be to generate and execute orders for Plant, Machinery and Spare Parts being handled by SILTRADE which will include, among others, followings:
  • Explore new market and customers for the Plant, machinery and spare parts.
  • Visit existing and prospective customers, introduce Company products and services to them.
  • Conduct Survey on the market to assess the requirement for Company products.
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers/Indents to customers.
  • Follow up the offers made to the customers.
  • Keep track of the orders/LCs in progress.
  • Maintain effective liaison with overseas suppliers.
  • Meet and attend overseas suppliers.
  • Receive representatives from foreign suppliers.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Sc or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical).

Work Experience:

  • 2 to 3 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Minimum 2/3 years experience in an indenting/ trading company dealing in industrial machinery and raw materials.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Must demonstrate the attitude of integrity, transparency, proactive stance and positive style.
  • Must be physically fit to undertake frequent travel throughout Bangladesh.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skill.
  • Well conversant in Computer.
