Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Address/ prepare a long-term strategic and financial plan for the project
  • Strengthening partnerships and fundraising to establish a long-term financial mechanism
  • Finalise Annual Grants Report, Operation Report and Procurement Report for submission to the Board of Trustees
  • Construct a system of metrics to provide evidence of the impacts of the fund
  • Recommend any needed changes in procurement policies and procedures for approval by Board of Trustees
  • Approve evaluation reports and recommendations for awarding of grant(s) or procurement contract(s).
  • Award and signing of contracts
  • Guide/ supervise the finalisation and roll out of qualitative and quantitative monitoring tools including impact assessment of the activities done
  • Ensure the proper designing and initiation of implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Guide the team to promote innovative technologies to address special concerns to establish and operation of the Fund

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters in business administration (particularly in finance/ accounting or economics)/ environment science/ international development or any other relevant subjects from any recognised university/ institution

Work Experience:

  • At least 7 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience is required in financial/ project management or accounting with national/ international organisation or multinational company or charity with complex donor requirements preferably in the field of climate change and disaster risk reduction
  • Demonstrated skills in planning and reporting to relevant authorities including external donors
  • Sound knowledge on budget preparation, grants management and financial reporting using appropriate software and tools
  • Strong managerial skill with excellent written and oral communication both in English and Bangla
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and using internet based communications tools and applications
