Manager, Operations (Contractual), Climate Bridge Trust Fund

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Make the fund activities operational through opening, scoring and approval of bids
  • Explore fundraising opportunities to establish a long-term financial mechanism
  • Process the Annual Grants Report and Procurement Report
  • Receive concept notes, proposals, reports and develop other project or programme related documents
  • Opening and evaluation of bids/ budgets
  • Adoption of Evaluation Report
  • Advise Implementing Partners on approaches to project design and implementation
  • Ensure internal capacity building of team members and outreach to implementing partners
  • Prepare yearly work plans and strategic documents as needed
  • Make recommendations on award granting to the Head of Trust Funds Secretariat
  • Develop SOPs and publications and ensure start of implementation of the SOPs
  • Coordinating, planning and routine monitoring of programme activities

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters in social science/ business and finance/ environment science/ international development/ urban planning or any other relevant subjects from any recognised university/ institution

Work Experience:

  • At least 7 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Minimum 07 years of relevant working experience in the field of climate change and disaster risk reduction preferably in Bangladesh context
  • Proven skills in managing, operating climate change and disaster risk reduction projects
  • Sound knowledge on effective project implementation and supervision
  • Strong managerial skill with sound knowledge on strategic planning and reporting to donor and other relevant authorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication both in English and Bangla Proficient in
  • MS Word, Excel, Power Point and using internet based communications tools and applications
