Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assistant Manager Finance shall be the sole responsible for all aspects of budgetary activities, implementation of Finance policies, maintaining inter-departmental working relationships as well as assist the Executive Assistant Manager-Finance in the implementation of overall financial strategies and plans.
  • Ensure and follow up Financial Reporting, understand & review financial results, monitor & take action to ensure profitability of the businesses.
  • Determine appropriate Finance strategies in all business/customer segments towards maximizing the Hotel revenue.
  • Protect the integrity of the business by the systematic application of the Companys internal control procedures & ensure full compliance.
  • Handle External & Internal Audit as well as vast knowledge on Bangladesh Audit Standard and regulations.
  • Maintain liaison with the stakeholders to ensure accurate cross-billing and day end reconciliations.
  • Verify all financial reports and ensure that all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local government regulations.
  • Maintain a very good congenial atmosphere and coordination with the Departments regarding all types of Communications.
  • Perform any other lawful assignment given by the Competent Management on emergency requirement basis.

Educational Qualification:

  • Minimum MBA concentrating in Finance/Accounting from any reputed and recognized University.
  • Partly qualified CA/ICMA/CA.CC will be counted as an added advantage.

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 (five) years of relevant experience in Finance Department in a reputed Brand Hotel/MNC/Large local organization.
  • Maximum 40 (Forty) years of age as of last date of submitting the application.
  • Have vast knowledge on Income Tax, VAT & Foreign Currency Regulations.
  • Have in-depth knowledge on Internal Audit & standard regulations.
  • Should possess strong networking capability, entertaining clients, ability to plan ahead and ready to work under pressure.
  • Ability to implement and maintain PPSD Finance & other relevant policy.
  • Presentable personality, well groomed, courteous and excellent inter-personal relationship skills.
  • Commendable documented communications proficiency both in spoken & written English and Bangla.
  • Other language proficiency will be counted as an added advantage.
  • Dexterity in MS Office especially on MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Internet Browsing.
  • Strong Leadership skills & administrative capabilities are required to run the Finance activities smoothly.
  • Should have a "Can Do Attitude".
  • Ready to work extra hours irrespective of Duty schedule based on emergency situations.
