Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Overall supervision of the sales forces for the respective area.
  • Prepare monthly action plan in line with yearly marketing plan, product performance and competitors activities.
  • Formulate strategies and promotional campaign to achieve the target.
  • Monitor the product wise daily performance.
  • Review the development status of new products and provide required inputs.
  • Allocate the promotional materials and monitor their distribution.
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly meeting with sales force.
  • Assist sales team to meet the monthly and yearly sales target.
  • Provide training to the field forces regarding their assigned products.
  • Maximizing the target customers awareness of the brand through creative approaches.
  • Conduct frequent visit /meeting with distributors/dealers/ architect/developer and even end customers.
  • Frequent and objective reporting towards higher management.
  • Any other job assigned by the Management.

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters in any discipline from reputed public or private university.
  • MBA/ MCOM in Sales & Marketing/ experience preferably from paint industry.

Work Experience:

  • 7 to 10 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Age at most 40 years
  • Minimum 7 years of practical experience in Sales and Marketing.
  • Incumbent should be familiar with commonly used tools for market analysis and gross margin analysis and business planning.
  • Personal attributes:

  • Keen sense of ownership
  • Quick decision making capability
  • Good team player
  • Convincing capacity and leadership
  • Language: Should be fluent in English & Bangla.
