Ethical Trading & Sustainability Coordinator

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To implement REGATTA / DARE2B / CRAGHOPPER / Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) code of conduct (CoC) in 25 + factories located mainly in Gazipur, Savar and Chittagong.
  • To keep updated with and implement Bangladesh Labour law in line with ETI CoC.
  • To advise necessary corrective action plan (CAP) solutions to the supply chain factories.
  • To conduct initial and follow up internal audit among the supply chain factories.
  • To assist the Regatta buying Director for new supply chain factories sourcing.
  • To prepare factories and manage third party audit.
  • To assist/guide factories management, social compliance personnel and welfare officers in the election, formation and functioning of the participation committees.
  • To take necessary follow up of CAP suggested by third party auditor.
  • To manage the CSR activities of the company in Bangladesh.
  • To follow up The RHEP (Regatta Health Education Program) in the group supply chain factories.
  • To manage and update the in housekeeping of supplier folders
  • To carry out weekly video meetings with the UK Head office and provide quarterly suppliers overview reports
  • Be responsible for Regatta Internal Dhaka office H&S
  • To work closely with the UK senior management and be responsible for implementing the Group sustainability policy across our suppliers and Dhaka office

Educational Qualification:

  • At least graduate or post graduate. Professional having Diploma in Social Compliance from Bangladesh Institute of Management will be preferred (Professional doest have factory base social compliance operation practice, need not to apply).
  • Very good and fluent level of English- both written and spoke

Work Experience:

 

Others Requirements:

  • Graduate to 2/3 years of experience
  • Computer literate
  • Good English language communication skill.
  • Experienced in internal social compliance and auditing
  • Good level of understanding and knowledge of factories health and safety, fire safety and prevention, local law in terms of participation committees, wages and working hours, etc.
