Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Policy Advocacy specialist will work in close collaboration with the Project Director/ Associate Director and be specifically responsible for:
- Conducting a comprehensive stakeholder analysis and engagement plan/ strategy according to sustainability strategy
- Preparing detailed action plan for integrating sustainability considerations across the BHASA programme interventions
- Marinating lliaison with Government agencies (eg. DGHS, MoWCA, BFSCD, LGRD, DGDM etc) and development partners at the national level and divisional level.
- Conducting training, workshop and meeting at the national, division and district level in relation with sustainability
- Supervising and monitoring the sustainability related field activities.
- Dcommentating the sustainability process with the support of other BHASA team members
- Conducting a quarterly debriefing session for CIPRB and other relevant stakeholders
- Preparing quarterly progress report detailing the findings and preliminary recommendations including challenges, interventions and successes.
Educational Qualification:
- MBBS/ MSS (Social Science) with MPH from any reputed universities.
Work Experience:
- 10 to 15 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- 10-15 years experience in policy advocacy preferably within the health system with expertise in preparing national strategy policy development and excellent networks across Bangladesh government and development agencies.
- Experience working within the Bangladesh Government system.
- Experience with logical framework or other monitoring and evaluation tools appropriate for advocacy (for example outcome mapping).
- Experience of integrating sustainability considerations in policy, plan and project development
- Experience of influencing policy, mobilizing resources and forging effective partnerships
- Experience of identifying and engaging with stakeholders on a particular issue
- Good experience with policy formation
- Good networks across Bangladesh government and development partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver results.
- Excellent skill in verbal and written communications in English
- Knowledge in developing strategies, report writing
