Roles & Responsibilities:

• Under the overall guidance of Director, IDRC-B/CIPRB and supervised by the Team Leader (BHASA Project), the Deputy Team Leader (Policy Advocacy) will perform the following duties:
• Providing support in conduction a comprehensive stakeholder analysis and engagement plan according to sustainability strategy at field level
• Preparing detailed action plan for integrating sustainability of district level considerations across the BHASA programme interventions
• Marinating Liaison with Government agencies (eg.DGHS, MoWCA, BFSCD, LGRD, DGDM etc) and development partners at the divisional, district and Upazila level.
• Coordinating with district and upazila level government and development partners with the support of local team members.
• Support in conducting training, workshop and meeting at division and district level in relation with sustainability
• Supervising and monitor the sustainability related field activities.
• Preparing case reports and quarterly progress report

Educational Qualification:

• _{MSS (social science) with MPH from a reputed institution}

Work Experience:

• 5 to 7 year(s)

Others Requirements:

• 5-7 years experience in policy advocacy preferably within the health system with a good exposure to national strategy development and good networks across Bangladesh government and development partners
• Experience working within the Bangladesh Government system
• Experience of influencing policy, mobilizing resources and forging effective partnerships
• Experience of identifying and engaging with stakeholders on a particular issue
• Good networks across Bangladesh government and development partners
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to deliver results.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
• Knowledge in developing strategies, and report writing

Others Benefit:

Travel and daily allowance as per organization policy of the organization. These costs are excluded from the remuneration.
