Roles & Responsibilities:
- 1. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, customer service and
- professionalism; responsible for promoting a positive image of the Company.
- 2. Directs organizational planning to evaluate departments, job design and workforce forecasting
- throughout the organization to enhance productivity.
- 3. Defines and recommends employee relations practices to establish positive employer-employee
- relations and promote a high level of employee morale.
- 4. Implements the compensation structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee
- benefits programs, and may assist the risk manager with company safety and health programs,
- workers compensation claims, etc.
- 5. Evaluates and administers new and existing employee benefits including: profit sharing and other
- benefit plan options. Monitors programs for effectiveness and cost containment.
- 6. Works proactively with senior management and staff to ensure that MK Electronics is able to
- recruit, motivate and retain supervisory, professional, technical, administrative and production
- staff.
- 7. Interviews and participates in the selection process for exempt-level candidates. Approves
- recommendations for terminations. Reviews employee appeals through complaint procedure.
- 8. Assists with the process of organizational development that addresses succession planning
- throughout the organization. Makes recommendations to senior leadership.
- 9. Establishes and implements in-house employee development and training programs that address
- employee needs (e.g., managers training on Performance Appraisals, Interviewing, etc.).
- 10. Working with the Safety Coordinator, implements programs to control risks and losses. Develops
- correct incentives to ensure compliance and continuous improvement in company safety program.
- 11. Assists Safety Coordinator to evaluate conditions and opportunities within the system to improve
- safety performance.
- 12. Maintains an efficient department and a high-quality staff through recruitment and development of
- staff; manages the work of staff.
- 13. Defines all Human Resources programs and authority/responsibility for those programs. Provides
- training and education to staff, including workshops, manuals and developmental meetings.
- 14. Monitors, maintains high levels of service through working closely with staff. Oversees
- implementation of HR policies and programs through HR staff.
- 15. Formulates, recommends and implements HR policies and strategies enterprise-wide.
- 16. Ensures that all Human Resource policies and procedures are in compliance with and adhere to
- standards by regulatory agencies; conducts ongoing reviews of HR policies, practices and
- programs to ensure continuing quality improvement and effectiveness.
- 17. Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR function;
- Monitors compliance and directs the preparation of information required. Acts as primary contact
- with outside labor counsel and government agencies.
- 18. Partners with senior executive team to ensure understanding of and compliance with HR policies;
- keeps top management informed of new developments in HR.
- 19. Prepares and disseminates reports to assist senior leadership in creating and maintaining a work
- environment with high morale and productivity.
- 20. Attends Meetings as required. Keeps top management informed of problems that jeopardize the
- achievement of objectives and those that are not being adequately addressed at the line
- management level.
- 21. Develops and directs the annual HR operating budget. This position also works closely with
- Finance on the purchasing of benefits programs and managing the compensation expenses.
- Develops department budget projection and makes recommendations; monitors expenditures in
- accordance with established budget.
- 22. Performs miscellaneous projects as requested by management. May occasionally partner with
- other executive management team members on projects of a non-HR nature.
- 23. Responsible for the payroll function of the company.
- 24. Other duties as needed.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Skills Required: Admin, Compliance, Communication skills, Human Resource Management, Job Analysis & Manpower Planning, Labor Law, Labor Management
Work Experience:
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Others Requirements:
- Age 25 to 40 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply
- Broad knowledge and experience in HR Budgeting, compensation & benefits, PMS, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, Labor Acts, safety, and training and development.
- Excellent oral and written communication skill both Bengali and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff member
