Head of HR (AGM/DGM)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan.
  • Ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization, as and when they occur.
  • Prepare HR strategy aligned with the organizations functional strategy and develop HR policy.
  • Make sure to recruit the right person in the right place for the group through the management of HR team.
  • Design the employee benefit and compensation program of the group.
  • Handle the grievance and disciplinary issues of the group including factories.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures or SOPs complying with local Laws in line with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and designs and implement a training plan with input from business heads. Manage costs to budget.
  • Coordinate with HR and functional Heads to identify the various training and development needs.
  • Ensure succession planning and navigate the team towards succession.
  • Coordinate with all functions to enhance and implement an annual Appraisal System for all employees.
  • Restructuring and change management.
  • Ensure effective utilization of manpower by working with functional heads on a cross functional staffing system.
  • Ensure retention of best talent, performance management of overall talent and enhancing the performance driven culture.
  • Benchmark our benefits and make sure we are aligned with the market.
  • Manage salary and wages administration as per company policy.
  • Monitor leave & attendance of all employees including factories.
  • Train & develop functional staff to improve efficiency, effectiveness to improve service, human relations, skills and knowledge
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Educational Qualification:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HRM
  • PGDHRM from BIM shall be an added advantage

  • 15 to 18 year(s)

    • Age 42 to 50 years
    • Only males are allowed to apply
    • The incumbent should have minimum 02 years of experience as AGM/DGM in Human Resource department of any reputed group of Companies/Industries
    • The candidate should have sufficient knowledge in labor law 2006 (Amendment in 2013)/labor rules 2015.
    • Experience with HR in high technology arenas that have faced rapid growth.
    • Progressive attitude and sensitivity towards human issues and problems.
    • Desire to learn and experiment with new practices and systems and customize to reflect the Aston-field culture.
    • Awareness about market trends, ability to anticipate and deal with problems related to external as well as internal environment.
    • Out-of Box thinker, Strong team player.
    • Motivation and Management skills.
    • Ability to cope with a challenging and competitive environment.
    • Self-starter with good interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to instill enthusiasm and confidence at all levels.
