Roles & Responsibilities:
- In addition to the overall success of the company, the CEO is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Leading the development and execution of short & long term strategies to increase stakeholders wealth.
- S/he will be responsible for delegating the power to the managers, Executives and Heads of the Departments.
- Communicating, on behalf of the company, with shareholders, government entities, and the public as and when required.
- Creating and implementing the company or organizations vision and mission.
- Evaluating the work of other executive leaders within the company.
- Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments, etc.
- Ensuring that the company is maintaining the compliance and coping with adequate social responsible conformity wherever it does required.
- Assessing risks of the company and ensuring that the overall risk mechanism system are monitored and minimized.
- Setting strategic goals and making sure that they are measurable and describable
- Responsible for overall financial inflow and outflow of the funds, investment & policies.
- S/he will ensure that the information given to the annual report and other publications are authentic, true and fair.
- Attending the meeting, hearing, discussion, negotiation, persuasion for the development of the company and the industry and for any other legitimate purpose with the regulators, clients, governments and other stakeholders.
- Attending, contacting, communicating and confirming the lawyers for and on behalf of the company.
- Earning business revenue and other income from investment (monetary & intellectual) and disposal of any assets by order of the Board/Shareholders/Governments as and when required.
- Financial planning and sourcing, record keeping and analytical management reporting to the Board of Directors ;
- Managing the marketing channels and sales force, market research, developing new products, marketing communications, public relations, pricing decisions and customer service;
- Monitoring the human resource requirements, employee records maintenance, employee skills management programs and disciplinary matters;
- Complying with the various regulatory requirements as applicable to the Company, and ensuring that the employees are aware of and comply with these typically by developing policies and practices that result in compliance and communicating these to employees and monitoring their adherence; and
- Taping the potential of information technology for improving companys function and monitoring technological developments and help developing meaningful roles for the company in the emerging technological scenarios.
- Any other job as and when required.
Educational Qualification:
- As per the regulation of IDRA i.e. minimum three years Hons Degree along with at least one year Master Degree or at least 4 years Hons Degree/Similar level of education from a repudiate local or international Institutions.
Work Experience:
- At least 15 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- At least 15 years experiences while at least 3 years experience as immediate lower position of the CEO or 2nd in command from any/more insurance companies in Bangladesh.
- Total experience may be 12 years including 3 years experience as immediate lower position of the CEO or 2nd in command from any/more insurance companies in Bangladesh to those applicants who completed listed professional degree indicated in the regulation related to the appointment and removal of CEOs of insurance companies.
