Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, review & interpret the Shariah Banking Policies, Guidelines and Manuals for the bank in appropriate manner.
- Carryout market survey of existing shariah based banking products, review the existing products of the bank and formulate variety of deposit & investment products for the bank considering the customers demand & requirement.
- Procure & manage the deposits & investment portfolios under Islamic banking strictly in shariah principles.
- Plan, organize & manage the business targets under shariah banking umbrella of the bank with potential market share & sustainable growth.
- Continuous market research on products, pricing & avenues of shariah banking and adopt timely & necessary strategies to expand business.
- Effective coordination with branches and Head Office Divisions for growth & development of Islamic banking business of the bank.
- Add value to create an appropriate & exceptional brand image & value of Islamic Banking for the bank.
- Train up the bank officials for their capacity development in different aspects & shariah banking.
- Ensure regulatory & other compliances meticulously.
- Any other responsibility as & when assigned by the competent authority of the bank from time to time
Educational Qualification:
- Post-Graduation in any discipline preferably commerce/business background with excellent academic record from reputed universities and no third division/class or equivalent CGPA in academic career. Candidates having additional qualification like Banking Diploma/ Islamic Banking Diploma will get preference
Work Experience:
- At least 18 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Age at most 50 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Minimum 18 years experience in shariah banking and minimum 5 years at a senior position
- Hands on experience in branch banking particularly in the areas of GB, Credit, Foreign Trade, AML & CFT in shariah environment.
- Sound knowledge, understanding & clear ideas on Islamic Banking products, concepts, laws and regulatory framework.
- Clear understanding of associated risks in banking operations/transactions and mitigation process.
- Strong analytical & report writing skills.
- Excellent inter-personal, communication & presentation skills with leadership quality.
- Strong IT knowledge and good command over Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-point.
- Ability to work under pressure & tight schedule.
