Area Sales Manager-Sales & Marketing (IT Products)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • To develop field sales action plans and advertising to accomplish marketing and sales goals
  • To research and capitalize on different marketing opportunities to improve product marketability and profitability.
  • To anticipate new opportunities to maintain relationship with important clients.
  • To establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • To negotiate and close agreements with large customers and to manage oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
  • To monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • To develop growth strategies for current markets, identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  • To provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients needs.
  • To liaise with marketing and product development departments to ensure brand consistency.
  • To expand business network around the world and to keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
  • To manage territory restrictions, compliance and local law and trade practices.
  • To carry out any other tasks given by the management.

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation from any reputed University.

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

    • Age at least 28 years

    • Have the ability to lead a team.
    • Good communication skill.
    • Depth knowledge of managing a high-performance sales team.
    • Basic knowledge on IT Products.
    • Must be a self-starter, highly organized and able to work well with employees & clients of all levels in corporate sector.
    • Outstanding communication, amicable and leadership skills, good presentable experience.
    • Excellent presentation and writing skills.
    • Able to understand and manage product line, customer and pricing.
    • Familiarity with the industry and products preferred.
    • Conversant with and effective in the techniques and disciplines of sales, sales management and marketing communication.
    • Able to lead and motivate others to ever higher levels of achievement.
