Accounts and Admin Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist to prepare budget, revision, and fund request for the Program Manager. Before providing budget to the Project Manager it should be checked with the Finance & Accounts Officer or the Finance Manager
  • Weekly bill/voucher checking and posting in financial system in Head Office
  • Follow up the expenses of unit office
  • Random Sampling of expenses such as seminar, training workshop etc.
  • Check the bill/voucher in relation with code, budget allocation and definition
  • Keeping update the stock and assets through ensuring the asset identification and register
  • Responsible for the closing of each months accounts and the preparation of supporting schedules, such as Control account reconciliations, fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • To see specific assigned projects and prepare financial reports, budget variance analysis.
  • Work closely works with Program Manager, for the process of PIP and accounts procedure
  • Assist concerned authority to control the budget in relation with over/under spent; produce the justification of financial variance etc
  • Conduct financial/accounts orientation for project staff and local leaders
  • Assist the internal / external audit team at field as well as central office
  • Work within LAMB (and PLAN) financial procedure
  • Attendant Field or head office monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all reports, vouchers, schedules, payroll sheets and stock inventories for the organization
  • Integration of spiritual, emotional and social health
  • Be able to explain to anyone who asks LAMB motto and logo
  • Be example in implementing the project activities to the organizational mission, vision and values.
  • Any other work if needed will be done in consultation with the finance Manager.

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Com pass but M.Com preferred.

Work Experience:

 

Others Requirements:

  • Age 25 to 45 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Should have 3 years experience as mid-level finance staff in managing health related projects. Finance and admin guideline training required. Experience with financial accounting software. Ability to speak & write in English. Able to drive motorcycle with full valid motorcycle driving license.
