Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed
- Experience on L/C issuance & order placements, lead times & communications with C&F agents for import functions.
- Prepare all kinds of shipping and other documents.
- Assist to source, negotiate and purchase materials from overseas vendors.
- Assist in evaluating vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
- Assist and ensure evaluating supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
- Resolve any internal and external on issues regarding purchasing terms & conditions.
- Assist to order daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on purchase orders (PO) delivery and shipment schedules.
- Responsible for implementing internal procurement action plan to cater to superior delivery services and shorten lead time requirements.
- Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
- Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
- Assist any other ad-hoc duties of projects as assigned as per business need.
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
- Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) will be considered as added advantage
Work Experience:
- At least 3 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Others Requirements:
- Computer literacy is must. (MS Office, Tally and ERP).
- English and Bengali proficiency (Written and spoken) is required.
- Must have at least 02 year experience in Supply Chain Management/Procurement
- Must have knowledge in Import & Export business.
- Should have knowledge in L/C Terms & Conditions, Cash Incentive Collection, Follow-up shipment, Payment collection, PRC etc.
- Must have Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Knowledge of Customs Rules Regulations for Import, Follow up with supplier, shipping line, Follow-up L/C opening to goods receiving at factory.
- Experience on L/C issuance & order placements, lead times & communications with C&F agents for import functions.
