Roles & Responsibilities:
- To conduct periodic internal reviews or audits based on local law, Alliance/Accord Standards, clients specification and EPIC directives to ensure that compliance procedures are followed as well as workers & workplace safety.
- Send mail to factory concerned on major violations and seek Corrective Action Plan (CAP).
- Regular monitoring & to communicate with factory to rectify the audit findings as per given date.
- Make sure to remediate full safety CAP (Alliance/Accord) and monitor on regular basis and seek EPIC senior management intervention during critical call outs.
- Monitoring the development on eight high priority issues like Structural Design Report, Details Engineering Assessment (DEA), Central Fire Detection System (CFDS), Hydrant System, Sprinkler System, Fire Rated Doors, Lightning Protection System (LPS) and Single Line Diagram (SLD).
- To be present during Remediation Verification Visit (RVV)/Pre CCVV, CCVV of Alliance/Accord and give best effort to support the audit process successfully.
- Prepare the CAP and updates and share same as the brands (Wal-Mart, JCP, TCP, Academy etc) on regular basis.
- Prepare the factory with conducting internal audit/visit as per compliance standard as well as buyer requirements prior to any 3rd party/1st party audit i.e. social, ethical, safety (building, electrical, fire), environmental, technical, SCS, CTPAT, QMS, technical, ACCORD, ALLIANCE etc.
- Based on the audit/visit non-conformity prepare a sensible CAP along with concerning factory and submit to brand/3rd party.
- Advice/support factories on any issues to take corrective action against all issues raised by 3rd party/brand auditors.
- Time to time monitoring with factory to close the all NCs as per provided CAP.
- Updating the audit tracking chart and send same to HK team once in a month.
- Monitor compliance certification like CTPAT, WRAP, BSCI, ISO, SEDEX, OEKOTEX, Accord & Alliance etc and handle their different audits with requirements.
- Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with human resources departments to ensure the implementation of consistent disciplinary action strategies in cases of compliance standard violations.
- Advise internal management or business partners on the implementation or operation of compliance programs.
- Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness.
- Report violations of compliance or regulatory standards to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate or required.
- Design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards.
- Direct the development or implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout an organization.
- When compliance problems arise, conducts investigations to discover the roots of the issue.
- Examines and improves auditing processes to prevent compliance issues or resolve them in a timely manner.
- Strives not only to meet compliance standards, but also to exceed them for peak operating efficiency.
- Maintain relationship with Police Authorities, RAB. Local Influences and other government agencies.
Educational Qualification:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Training/Trade Course: Compliance
