Deputy Manager/ Manager, Human Resources & General Affairs

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR & Admin functions and duties.
  • Guide HR & Admin team.
  • Day-To-Day update all documents of company/factory & to keep liaison with Govt. officer for licenses, agreement & any other issues.
  • Obtaining work permit from BOI, security clearance, Visa processing & extension for foreign employees.
  • Update/renew and obtain all legal documents of the company (Trade License, Fire License, Factory License, Factory Floor layout approval, Structural layout approval, building approval, environmental certificate etc.)
  • Provide the supports of Protocol and necessary arrangements for entertainment of foreigners, Company Guests and top level management.
  • Conducts & develops security measure and intelligence issues.
  • Able to handle/manage large number of security force and companys transport
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
  • Manpower planning, Succession planning and handling entire recruitment procedure, job advertisement, review, screening of application and finalizing the process of appointment.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.).
  • Coordinate HR & Admin projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes.
  • Ensure staff development including training, assessment.
  • Ensure general administration & human resources activities for the company.
  • Supervise and direct the staffs of HR & Admin Team to perform their duty smartly.
  • Formulate and Develop and upgrading of HR manual / policy in the organization.
  • Develop key performance indicators and goal setting of the different level employees with their supervisor and conduct appraisal process.
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, administration issues, rules, and regulations.
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures.
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.

Educational Qualification:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HRM, Bachelor degree in any discipline, Bachelor of Law (LLB), Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in HRM

Work Experience:

  • At least 5 year(s)

  • Age 35 to 40 years

  • Must have sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law & BEPZA instruction.
  • Good team leader.

  • Proficiency in Computer application software i.e. MS Word, Excel, Power Point etc & knowledge of e-mail corresponding is must.
  • Communication skills in both Bengali and English.
  • Analytical and ability to think laterally
  • Ability to consult with stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize own workload
  • Presentation Skills (including report writing)
  • Independently take advantage of opportunities to improve or increase skills, abilities and job knowledge.
  • Must have multi-tasking ability and willingness to work under pressure.
  • Be professional in all interactions and dealings with co-workers, internal/external customers and vendors.
