Assistant Officer - Advocacy, Right 2 Grow Project

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Assistant Officer - Advocacy is primarily responsible for to facilitate advocacy component in collaboration with multi-stakeholders. S/he will provide capacity support to members of Civil Society Organizations and support to implement advocacy plan of Right2Grow project, Mapping potential private sector who are working for Nutrition, WASH, and child health care and Support to use different communication channels to share evidence-based findings from Right to Grow. The incumbent will support to organize meetings, workshops, and conferences at national and work with media to cover evidence and the voice of the leaders of Civil Society Members and build and maintain strong networks and working relations with multi-stakeholders. S/he will also support to organize campaigns with GoB and other stakeholders and communicate and work collaboratively with GO-NGOs platforms at national level and write up relevant stories for documentation.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Social Sciences /Communication or relevant discipline.

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • At least 2 years experience, preferably in advocacy in food security and livelihood
  • Solid knowledge of advocacy with different stake holder like partner and GOB.
  • Excellent experience of rapport building, networking, and relationship building.
  • Sound reporting skills as per reporting template and considering result framework of the Right to Grow project
  • Basic understanding of child rights, Gender and Governance.
  • Should be proficient in computer operation, particularly, in Power Point presentation
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
