Roles & Responsibilities:
- Closely work with local Upazila Health Complex authority.
- Maintains and delivers quality service.
- Reviews protocols and vaccine requirements
- Reviews Immunization Consent forms and record accordingly
- To ensure vaccines are administered and documented.
- Disposes of bio-hazardous waste in the appropriate and prescribed manner.
- Uses and remains knowledgeable of Universal Precautions.
- Has knowledge of action to be taken in the event of an emergency.
- Has knowledge of protocols for adverse reactions, as well as reporting of incidents and injuries.
- Always maintains confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal and cultural sensitivity skills
- Able to adjust to changing environments and protocols.
- Performs other duties as assigned/ necessary
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Medical Assistant/ MATS from an accredited academic institution or hospital; recognized & registered by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
Work Experience:
- At least 1 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- At least 1 years clinical MA experience in emergency and primary healthcare.
- Ability to lead, train, supervise and facilitate other medical staff and community health workers in their respective tasks.
- Ability and flexibility to understand the cultural and political environment.
- Skills to provide sensitive and appropriate medical counselling.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a stressful environment, displaying patience, compassion, and diplomacy.
- Ability to be innovative, flexible, adaptive, and willingness to work in challenging situations.
- Ability to live in challenging conditions and ability to work under difficult, high pressure situations.
