Roles & Responsibilities:
- Mastermind business growth strategies to help meet organizational goals and objectives
- Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts
- Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth
- Ensure that the organization complies with contractual obligations as well as relevant government authorities rules & regulations.
- Works with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs
- Conduct market research to inform strategic business decisions
- Oversee branding and marketing endeavors to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals
- Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients
- Maintain all export & import related documentation and communications.
- Maintain close communication & contacts with all depots.
- Examines company rules to make sure they stay relevant and makes recommendations for necessary changes
- Looks for opportunities to grow a business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives, and works to take advantage of those opportunities
- Analyses sales and other reports that give insight into how a company can make adjustments to improve performance
- Works as a member of a cohesive team
- Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations
- Communicates with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contracts financial aspects
- Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation
- Manages daily company operations
- Coaches employees on best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks
- Accepts extra duties as situations arise
- Works efficiently and calmly tight deadlines or other stress factors arise
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
Work Experience:
- 2 to 5 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- Minimum graduate with 5+ years prior experience in business development or marketing or commercial area.
- A proven history of successful leadership
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Has to be a self-starter and smart decision maker
- Must be a strategic thinker and a have strong negotiation skills
- Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team
- Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Up to date on industry trends, as well as laws and regulations
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
