Roles & Responsibilities:

• Study fashion trends and apparel market and present product inspirations.
• Understand fabric mills and vendors new developments and product capabilities.
• Use trend information and source newness and innovation from the supplier base.
• Understand individual brands needs, price structure, and margin parameters.
• Maintain cross-functional dialogue with merchandising & technical teams on the seasonal product developments and sample execution.
• Work alongside merchandising team and vendors to develop samples from design pack to client approval.
• A broad understanding of sourcing bases of fabrics and accessories.
• Review business opportunities with the Head of Merchandising and the Design Director on client specifics to develop new product ranges and target opportunities.
• Having an insight into all kinds of embellishments such as embroidery, garment washes, and dyeing, different types of printing, etc.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor degree in any discipline, Masters degree in any discipline
• Skills Required: 3D Animation, ability to work as a team, Able to work under pressure, Adobe Photoshop Illustra, Business/ Product Development, Fashion Design, Fashion DesigningGraphics Designing from any reputed College or Unive

Work Experience:

• At least 3 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

  Others Requirements:

  • Higher Diploma or above in fashion, graphics, or related disciplines.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with exposure in the US/UK fashion markets is an advantage.
  • Skillful in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop are a must, 3D is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills in collaborating with technical and product management teams in working with factories to prepare samples and presenting trend information and design ideas to clients.
  • Fluent in oral and written English Language.
  • Good fashion sense, knowledgeable in woven, cut & sewn knit, and sweater products.
  • Good time management skills and able to work under pressure.
  • Should be a good team player.
