Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To initiale treatment with prior information to consultant when a patient is admitted.
  • CV line, intubation and mechanical ventilation has to be given after discussion with ICU consultant.The patient shout be informed and a written consent has to be taken from the attendants before starting these procedures.
  • Closely observe the condition of the patient and monitor the vital signs and record as indicated in the equipments and machineries.
  • Inform consultant of any changes in the condition of the patient and any emergency procedures undertaken.
  • Maintain comprehensive notes and treatment records of all patients attended.
  • To write and fill up all documents and patient history sheet and other prescribed forms as required.
  • To give and take written handover at the bedside at the beginning and end of the duty shift.
  • Provide reassurance to patients attendants and relative as and when necessary.
  • Reassure patients about what will happen during and after operation, if any.
  • Monitor patients while they are under anesthesia.
  • Relieve and manage post-operative pain to support patients recovery.
  • Work with a range of other health professionals, such as surgeons, operating department practitioners, Nurses, ayah and word boy to ensure patient will being.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

Work Experience:

  • 3 to 5 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • Experience in Managment of ICU patient and practical knowledge of anesthesiology.
