- The Cost Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the development of the budgets, plus all other sections of the cost proposal, meeting all the requirements specified in the call for proposals and/or incompliance with the donor requirements. The incumbent is responsible for preparing standard structure budget for any donor including preparation of donor wise compliance check list. The cost proposal represents the financial application of a proposal and presents the amount of funds needed to implement the planned project along with other documents required by the donor. The role of the CPM is therefore to understand the work involved prepare, review and ensure that the cost estimation is consistent with CARE policy, donor policy and requirements of the proposal guidelines. Under the supervision of Finance Controller, the CPM will work with the proposal development team formed for any particular proposal and develop the cost proposal in coordination with PEARL Unit, HR and Administrative unit. CPM will prepare the budget notes with the assistance of Program Team.
Educational Qualification:
- Masters degree in Finance/ Accounting/ business administration.
Work Experience:
- At least 5 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- 05 years practical experience in financial and operational management of project proposal.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills, also good networking, collaboration, negotiation skills.
- Able to prioritize, plan and organize the scheduled works.
- Able to work under stress and can contribute long hours
- Good communication, reporting and presentation skill.
- Computer skill in MS Office, especially high level proficiency in Excel.
- Strong communication skill in Bangla & English. Must be articulate in English conversation and written communication.
