Roles & Responsibilities:

The Nurse works on a roster basis to contribute to the improvement in the overall nursing care in the Treatment Center of the COVID-19 cases through the established clinical practice standards. She is responsible for providing quality nursing care through the implementation of prescribed medication and monitoring effects, including initial and re-assessment of the patient within the defined time frame, delivery of hygiene promotion, health education, and patient/caregiver counseling. The incumbent reports to Medical Officer and works closely with the other clinical staff to ensure the delivery of good quality nursing care, whilst also maintaining safe infection prevention and control (IPC) practices for staff and patients. She also coordinates and optimizes the in-patient beds through effective admission and discharge to ensure good and efficient management of patient flow.

Educational Qualification:

  • 04-year Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Registered from Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC)

Work Experience:

  • At least 4 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • 04 years clinical experience in primary and emergency healthcare, preferably at least 1 year experience in tropical infections and diseases management
  • Prior experience in outbreak response and emergencies like COVID-19
  • Working experience in 24/7 health facilities, including previous experience of supervising and mentoring other health staff
  • Sound knowledge on health and nutrition issues; excellent counseling and monitoring skills
  • Motivated to work in the camp areas maintaining the highest form of health protocols amidst this pandemic
  • Familiarity and working knowledge with MS Office package, and comfortable with using online-based applications and software for different official purposes
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, self-confidence, and a proactive approach in problem-solving
