Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact between the BFF and suppliers.
- Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare tender documents, collect quotations etc.
- Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing.
- Process purchase orders to acquire goods.
- Work closely with the finance department and legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the BFF.
- Attend meetings with the finance team and legal team, vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning/forwarding and packing, pricing supplies.
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping.
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
Educational Qualification:
- Master degree in Business Management.
- CA Intermediate or CA (CC) is preferred.
Work Experience:
- At least 5 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, storekeeping, inventory control or recordkeeping.
- Working knowledge of the procurement industry and market conditions.
- Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques.
- Advance computer knowledge and work experience in "Tally software" is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Able to travel to meet with suppliers and work overtime as required.
