Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To analyze the existing IT infrastructure of Bank and design changes by following global standard and benchmark to ensure the best practices in the field of information technology systems and networking to align it with the management set planning of the bank.
  • To be responsible for reliable and secured operation of bank from technological perspective.
  • To successfully implement the recommendation of management & timely delivery related to Core Applications i.e. Core Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Cash management, Trade services, Supply chain Finance, Agent banking, Treasury system etc.
  • To effectively manage staffing, team motivation & resource development.
  • To monitor & time to time review of hardware, software and network status of Banks Data Centre and disaster recovery site and ensure effective data management & preservation to act fast in an adverse situation.
  • To ensure technological deliveries to meet business and regulatory objectives and to follow the compliance in alignment with security and legal perspective.
  • To review & update IT policy & ICT security policy Of Bank: ensure secured access to the Banks network system; evaluate Cyber Security Risks and make plan to encounter cyber or technical attack.
  • To ensure effective data management & service and ensure statutory compliance of all IT services/systems.
  • To implement new technologies with innovation to yield competitive advantage.
  • To ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely.
  • To collaborate with other Division/Department to provide technical supports to enhance efficiencies within their area.
  • To perform any other responsibilities as & when assigned by the authority.

Educational Qualification:

The Candidate must have minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Mathematics, Statistics and Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) from any IJGC approved reputed local/foreign university with satisfactory academic record. However, Post graduate degrees in ICT or MBA will be treated as additional qualifications.

Work Experience:

  • At least 12 year(s)

Others Requirements:

  • The candidate must have minimum 12(Twelve) years experience in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in a reputed bank or financial institution. However, candidates having experience in the Banking industry will get
  • preference.
  • He/She must have experience in Banking IT related policy and planning, Financial Network and application, Financial Information System, Cyber security technology, Payment technology etc.
  • Certification on relevant track will be preferred.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skill.
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas focusing on business & customer facing products.
  • Experience Of Core Banking Solution. Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, ATM & POS, BATCH, BEFTN etc. will be preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
  • Well understanding of budgets and business planning.
  • The candidate must be a member/associate member of any recognized/registered computer society.
  • AGE LIMIT: Not over 50 years as on 31st October, 2021.
