Roles & Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting on monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis for Management, Board, Group reporting and regulatory bodies following applicable legislations and IFRS
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, management reports and business planning reports and assist senior management in making important decisions
- Ensure value for money (economy, efficiency and effectiveness) for all procurements and expenses
- Driving cost saving initiatives for the company
- Assist business head and senior management to drive income in order to increase shareholders wealth
- Ensure optimum Working capital management and treasury management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from Tax, VAT, RJSC, BSEC, DSE, CDBL, Bangladesh Bank and other applicable regulatory bodies
- Ensure strong internal controls and prevent fraudulent activities
- Other tasks assigned by management from time to time
Educational Qualification:
- Qualified Professional Accountant with active membership with ICAB / ICAEW / ACCA / ICMAB / CPA
- Part-qualified Professionals with relevant experience may also apply
Work Experience:
- 5 to 8 year(s)
Others Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years in finance and accounts department
- Candidates without relevant experience need not to apply
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Must have expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Must have prior experience working with accounting software e.g. Quickbooks, Tally
