Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Overall management, direct, monitor, maintain and improve mechanisms for running the warehouse and control of goods in/out operation and stock control for the organization including the development, performance and maintenance of the warehouse to produce a compliant, efficient system and solution, maximizing performance & profitability, goods in/out operation and stock control against pre-agreed targets and controls.
  • Complies with warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
  • Utilize appropriate systems to manage the warehouse functions, analysis and documentation.
  • Performance, development, coaching and general support of all team members and organization as a whole to ensure targets are met.
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate records to applicable criteria including details relating to the carrier, importer and goods.
  • Assist in developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve agreed targets.
  • Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review.
  • Ensuring that the team understands the mechanism of the warehouse, their duties and role within the organization.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Overall responsibility for ensuring that the team is kept up to date with applicable import and duty regulations.
  • Maintain responsibility for performing all duties in compliance with related legal/statutory regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations and insert as applicable.
  • Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls.
  • Providing strong visible leadership in order to ultimately manage all staff through performance, management and training.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure all the rules and regulations to meet up the buyer requirements.

Educational Qualification:

  • Masters/ MBA from any recognized University with good academic record

Work Experience:

  • At least 15 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):<

    Others Requirements:

    • Experienced in software based store and Inventory management system
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Strong command in MS Excel and MS Word
