Manager/ Senior Manager - Legal

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Good knowledge about land measurement, land mutation land registration, land ownership, land related papers/document and other assets
  • Instructing and supervising external solicitors in litigation and other legal matters concerning the Companies business as well as relating to Companys assets.
  • Drafting various agreements, undertakings, board resolutions, Memorandum of Association, notices, replies to notices & regulatory letters and MoUs.
  • Provide legal vetting for purchasing proposed land.
  • Attend registration at Registrar Office (or commission) of land.
  • Resolve various kinds of disputes regarding purchased land and legal issues with regard to any employees
  • Handling the legal issues with regard to long pending party payment
  • Deal with any kind of hearing of the court with regard to company business
  • Take initiative to secure the purchased land by demarcation and taking possession
  • Investigate in various Govt. offices as well as concerned offices for verifying legal documents.
  • Coordinating on disputed issues with lawyers, concerned police stations, and other govt. authorities.
  • Practicing preventative law, providing legal advice and assistance to management and internal departments.
  • Drafting, reviewing and revising contract documentation, including tender documentation and ensuring it is qualified in the best interests of the Company.
  • To recheck and vetting the all files.
  • To understand all land related document,(C.S, S.A, R.A, mutation, deed, via deed, portion of
  • Primary Drafting and Vetting of all legal papers, documents and coordinate with Senior / Panel lawyers to ensure the documents are legally sound.
  • Proper Maintaining all files and documentation with confidentiality
  • Take initiative & legal action according to the management decision.
  • Liaison with various Govt. And Non Govt. Organization when necessary
  • Appearing in litigation and tribunal hearings on behalf of the company.
  • Maintaining liaison with police and various regulatory authorities.
  • perform any other work as per assigned by the top management.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) in Law, Master of Law (LLM) in Law

Work Experience:

  • 10 to 12 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

    Others Requirements:

    • The candidate should have Membership Certificate of Bangladesh Bar Council. The candidate must also have the membership enrollment of Bangladesh High court .
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • The candidate should have Managerial experience in legal department of any group of Manufacturing industries for at least 03 years.
    • Ability to work well as part of a multi disciplined team.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management and clients.
    • Well constructed negotiation skills.
    • Analytical, methodical and pro-active approach to problem solving.
    • Ability to identify key issues and present advice and decisions in a precise and understandable manner.
