Roles & Responsibilities:
- Accomplish procurement of RM/PM and ensure on time availability of products within optimum cost and inventory levels strategies.
- Float RFQ as per requirement, negotiate for price, quality and service with the vendor.
- Prepare CS and procurement proposal for management approval.
- Raise purchase order for required materials.
- Cost to the procurement/landed cost calculate, represent agenda for procurement committee meeting for decision.
- Execute the continuous improvement initiatives in terms of process, cost, quality and services to achieve targeted operational excellence.
- Monitor and maintain close liaison with foreign and local suppliers to track price trend, supply scenario and on time shipments to ensure competitive price and availability of product on right time.
- Source, maintain and develop pool of suppliers for all assigned categories
- Perform any other duties of department as and when needed
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in any discipline preferably in Business/Engineering/Pharmaceutical from reputed university. Diploma in SCM will add value.
Work Experience:
- At least 2 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Others Requirements:
- Should have in-depth category management knowledge for sourcing of RM/PM.
- Should have strong on negotiations skills.
- Should be result oriented and willingness to learn.
- For exceptional candidates required qualifications may be slightly relaxed.
