Roles & Responsibilities:
- To provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team;
- To develop finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- To ensure financial and investment planning to support business goals;
- To have sound knowledge in RMG legal issues, the court of law matters.
- To ensure banking function, loan processing, mortgage, land deed, etc.To accomplish finance human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; and planning and reviewing compensation strategies.
- To Oversees the general accounting function, which includes Payroll, Billing/Credit/A/R, A/P, Bank accounting and operations, Book close, Audit, General Ledger Management, inter-company accounting, financial reporting, and balance sheet management for company entities.
- To ensure investment analysis and feasibility study for new projects and new investment
- To ensure loan and credit facilities arrangement, including term loan, project finance, trade finance, and factoring
- To ensure financing & fundraising operations to maintain liquidity and support new projects and expansion
- To ensure good liaison with bankers, Investors, financial and legal advisors
- To ensure smooth cash disbursement/Prepare payments by verifying documentation.
- To do accounting research; manage the processes for financial forecasting; prepare and submit Annual Budget.
- To ensure preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts of the company.
- To ensure compliance of applicable taxes, viz., income tax, withholding taxes, VAT, Service Tax and all regulatory reporting is completed timely and accurately and the accounting and reporting in line with the applicable accounting standards and completion of statutory required reporting.
- To develop, implement, and maintain internal control procedures to provide reasonable assurance that the company assets are protected.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
Educational Qualification:
- Must be Masters in Accounting/Finance
- CA/ACA/ACMA/FCA/FCMA will get preference.
Work Experience:
- At least 20 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):<
Others Requirements:
- Working Experience in a 100% Export-oriented woven Garments Factory.
- Sound knowledge of Corporate Affairs, RMG, Financial Rules, Company Law, Fiscal Policy, VAT, Taxation Law, ERP.
- Excellent communication skills both in Bengali and English.
- Practical experience in budget preparation, variance analysis, and implementation of the budget
- Skills in preparing financial reports, statements, and projections, Internal control system initialization, development & implementation, Enterprise risk assessment, and management
- Experience in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Tax, VAT, Treasury bills.
